Sadness reigns

Just then this calming sadness grips me
I sit there and stir in the dark
My heart is breaking, my spirit is shaking and my mind is racing
What is the cause of this feeling, this depression?
I don't know and i don't seem to understand
But dreamland is far far away
I tried but couldn't find love
Well is just another day when sadness reigns and joy fades away
