Chapter 7 (doyin’s perspective)
Driving
on the highway at a dangerous speed, as I try to reduce my speed or even stop
myself from moving, I realise I can’t drive, but how was I in the car in the
first place? All of a sudden I was directly in front of the moving car which
was moving at top speed towards me and before it could hit me its headlights
overshadowed me and I woke up.
I
have never been a superstitious person but for some reason this dream was
getting to me like something to be taking seriously, I had already made plans
to surprise Jade in her school but the plan was still in the works, I had no
idea where she stays and how to get there, I knew she stayed with her aunt and
had plans to move to her own apartment still I was oblivious of where it was.
I
checked my phone and a message from Kofo entered which read “if this is how you
want to do it then fine, have a good life, I will not disturb you again, I just
hope you don’t regret it” and I wouldn’t lie it made me feel bad but because of
pride and my denial I decided to put my focus on the fact on why she had my

I
