Chapter 9 (Doyin’s perspective)

Just before we go any further I would like you to know that this story is not even about me, I just played a huge part in it and if you follow through you would understand why.

I got back from my trip feeling like superman, our moment together kept playing in my head, over and over again, and how I was going to get her to have sex with me was all I was thinking of, there is an old saying that says “if you don’t want to eat don’t even smell the food” I had smelt it and I desperately wanted to devour it.

I got to my room and to my surprise Daniel was there waiting for me with a huge smiling on his face, which showed he was suspicious of something.

“hey where did you go?” he confronted

“err ogun state” I smiled

“wait what did you go and do there?”

“errr….” Now I had a huge grin on my face

“ha… this your smile …. wait you went to fuck?”

I said nothing, I sat down with the huge grin still on my face,

“it’s a lie baba dinnur fuck anything” one of my roommates chipped in

I looked up at him and smiled, I was enjoying the suspense I was keeping them on.

Daniel knelt down and moved closed to me, we were now at eye level, “wait, chill tell me where did you go now” he tried whispering but his voice could still be heard by everyone in the room.

“I went to see my babe” I finally replied

“you have babe?”  he replied surprised

“so it’s the babe you went to see in Ogun state”

Daniel stood up, put his hand on his head and scream “yeeee Doyin went to go and fuck in another state ooo!!”

I laid down on my bed and said “you guys should leave me alone abeg”

Daniel pulled me back up “guy tell me the truth, did you go and fuck?” he said with desperation in his eyes like somehow his life depended on the answer I was going to give.

“I travelled to go and see babe, what else do you want to hear, baba lemme alone” I smiled as a laid back on the bed,

“okay okay, sha lemme see her picture” I said with a sign of relieve, I sat straight, strolled through my phone and selected a raunchy picture of Jade where she was looking sexy and was a bit revealing

“Jesu! Come and see what Doyin went to enjoy!” he exclaimed, as my other roommates gathered around.

“my guy, congratulations” one of my roommate congratulated me as if getting with Jade was like some kind of achievement.

“so that how Kofo has been packed one side” Daniel said facing me,

I couldn’t say anything I just replied him with a smile

“well its good sha”

“that’s life ooo” one of my roommate chipped in

“she is fine sha, do you like like her”

“yes I like like her” I chuckled my reply.

“issokay, I’m happy for you, enjoy your fucking” Daniel said as the whole room busted into laughter.

Things that happened between now and when I eventually took my trip are not relevant to the purpose of this story, it’s just filled with repetitive behaviours, my constant back and forth conversations with Jade, me going to class, nothing much happened to me in school, because I kind of zoned out of the social happenings around me because my mind was wherever Jade was.
