Religion

Religion has been the basis and foundation of most of all, if not all the activities in the world, it has been responsible for charity, discipline, principles, the laws,  the mass killings, hate and love. It is estimated that there are 4200 religions groups in the world (think about that), this means there are 4200 doctrines that people are supposed to follow, and all this 4200 religious group believe that they are the one true religion that is connected to the higher power. We have books and oracles that tell us how to live, and there is a promise of paradise and an afterlife. i dont know about all the 4200 religions, but i do know about Christianity. Jesus christ didn't come to create a region, he came to reconcile humanity with God (humanity not just Christians), during Jesus stay on earth, he showed that he didn't just cometo save a particular kind of people but he came for everybody, there is a particular verse in the bible which says that "for all have died and resurrected with christ" which means Jesus's salvation was for everyone not just some people and you didn't have to be in any particular group or sect to participate in that salvation. But after Jesus christ died, people started calling his desciples Christians (which means christ like), they started creating churches to teach people about christ love. But Christianity has grown into a system that segregates people from the society, the word "we believers... those unbelievers" has been used more than "we all belong to God's big happy family", this does not apply to Christianity alone, but to every other region, instead of the religions bringing the world together theybattle for supremacy. Lets look at it this way every religious person was born into their religions group or claims to have had an encounter with the higher power which means there are 4200 ways to encounter the higher power, "so why would you try to influence your own way on me?" I see the killings all in the name of one religion or the other, and it's just sad and at the same time pathetic. 4200 religion, how sure are you that you are in the right one, or that the higher power does not recognise all
