I have no idea what to say to you

I have no idea what you’re going through

With your bloodshot eyes

And your glossy lips

You rain down tears

You strut with shaky legs

I wish I could take your pain away

I wish you won’t have to feel this again

But am the boy in the background

Whose heart is rioting

But his lips don’t make a sound.

Two AM

It's 2am and I can't sleep
My brain decides to take me down memory lane
A lot of things have changed
I have change
Its funny how everything can just happen
In the space of one year, in the space of six months, in the space of two weeks,
 it's really crazy.
That I see the world differently
The fact that the trees don't fascinate me
 that fact that I'm no more  captivated by the sounds of birds
The fact that love is just a word
When It used to be a way of life.
They say the older you get the wiser you become
Well I disagree,  I think it's the darker you become
Now I'm wondering what went wrong
Did things actually go wrong?
Or did I just grow up?

Young romance

The romance of the leaves
Moving rhythmically to the sound of the wind
A love affair sealed by nature
What a wonderful creation
But I wonder if they will survive the thunder storm
Will they make it when the weather gets tough?
Now that it's sunshine and cool breeze
What happens when the cold night starts pouring
Would  the leaves still stick together?
Or would  they break away from each other ?
I smiled as i walked passed
Leaving them to enjoy their young romance

Beauty and the beast

She ran to take her sit
Just before the movie starts
Her eyes glued to the screen
The cutest thing I've seen in a while
Frustrated with how long they sang
Anxiously waiting has the story began
Trying to find the deeper meaning to the movie
This is different from the people I've been meeting
And God when she talked about music
And  how she felt about harmonies
It's one of the greatest feeling
To watch her talk while I listened
It's funny how she gasps and screams
To the thrills of the movie
Ironic that I'm sitting beside this beauty
While I could totally relate to the beast

Whispers

Whispers all around
The ambulance blazing through the crowd
Someone is in trouble
Someone needs help
We bring out our bibles
We don't want another dead
Wishes do come true, don't  they?
Well they never do
Silence hovering around
As her soul floats through the cloud
But I wonder what must have gone through her mind
Was death and escape from the pain
Or just a way to stop her from being great
I hope she was loved
I hope she didn't harbour hate
And now that sadness reigns
I hope one day someone smile when they hear her name

Angelic voice

It's a cold still morning
All I have are flashes of past miseries
Walking, trying to foget the pain
Laughing, hoping it won't hurt  again
And there you are
With that angelic voice
Oozing out the melodies of the gods
Having no idea that I'm watching
But god,  are you captivating
Other guys will walk up to say  hi
But I'll rather stay and watch you smile
Cos to you, singing is fun
To you singing is joy
I'm not sure if thats what singing makes you feel
But to me your voice gives me a reason to live
